Executive Committee
The Executive Committee shall be composed of the Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary of the Board of Trustees, as well as the Immediate Past Chair. This Committee exercises all general powers and acts on behalf of the Board in matters of urgent nature.
Ad Hoc Annual Conference Planning Committee
This committee is charged with the planning of the Annual Conference that occurs annually.

Affiliate Services Committee
The Affiliate Services Committee is responsible for overseeing policies and procedures that affect affiliates and their operations, offering assistance and guidance to member affiliates, strengthening the UCP network by identifying and evaluating potential members and making recommendations to the Board of Trustees, and other activities as designated by the Board.

Audit Committee
The Audit Committee’s responsibilities include overseeing the annual audit process, including the selection of auditors, providing oversight, and making recommendations to the Board of Trustees.

Bellows Committee
The Elsie S. Bellows Fund (aka Bellows Fund) Committee is responsible for the administration of the Fund. The fund supports individuals with any piece of equipment or product system that is used to increase, maintain or improve functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities.

Development Committee
The Development Committee is responsible for overseeing the creation, implementation and oversight of the organization’s development plan and fundraising, ensuring the organization’s financial ability to carry out its mission.

Public Policy Committee
The Public Policy Committee is responsible for affecting social, governmental and political issues and concerns relevant to our affiliates, people with cerebral palsy, intellectual and developmental disabilities and other conditions, and their families.

Research Council (URC)
The URC includes medical professionals, parents of individuals with disabilities, individuals with disabilities, clinician researchers, UCP affiliate leaders, and community-based advocates who believe that it is possible to improve the lives of children and adults with cerebral palsy. Many members represent the UCP affiliates whose work in our communities betters the lives of people with cerebral palsy every day.
