A Distinguished Legal Career Serving Diverse Clients

With decades of experience in business litigation, Brad has represented clients across a wide range of industries. His expertise includes shareholder and member disputes, intellectual property cases, employment law, professional liability, unfair business practices, and more. Brad has also represented high-profile clients including professional athletes, musicians, entertainment executives, and agencies.
From jury trials and court proceedings to arbitration and licensing hearings, Brad’s legal capabilities reflect a deep understanding of complex regulatory and contractual environments. His work consistently reflects integrity, strategic thinking, and an unwavering commitment to justice.
Inspired by Family and Fueled by Purpose
Brad’s philanthropic journey is deeply personal. His daughter Alex, who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, has inspired much of his service and advocacy.
“My family and I have seen how challenging raising a special needs child can be, and it is important to give back and try to make the world a better place for those impacted by such a condition and their families,” Brad shared.
With a family legacy rooted in service — his mother chaired a CP-focused nonprofit, and his sister began her career at UCP in Chicago — Brad has followed in their footsteps, bringing his experience and leadership to UCP’s national board.
Strengthening Fundraising to Drive Greater Impact
As chair of UCP’s Development Committee, Brad leads national efforts to expand donor engagement, secure corporate sponsorships, and create innovative fundraising models that support UCP’s mission. Drawing on his nonprofit leadership background, including serving as a former board chair at another organization, Brad is passionate about building a stronger financial foundation to grow UCP’s impact.
“I love fundraising and believe that everyone can help make a difference,” he says. “With the help of our committee members and staff, I’m confident we can significantly grow donations from both individual and corporate supporters.”
Brad encourages those interested in supporting UCP’s work to reach out and join the Development Committee, with the goal of expanding representation across the country and creating synergy with UCP affiliates.
Leveraging Legal Expertise for Disability Advocacy
Brad’s commitment to advocacy extends into his professional life, where he serves on the pro bono committee at his law firm. He believes that every individual has the power to help build a more inclusive society — whether through legal work, philanthropy, or public awareness.
“I believe all of us have the ability to make the world a better place, and I’m hopeful more people lean in.”
Driving the Future of Policy, Awareness, and Access
Looking ahead, Brad envisions UCP as a leader in disability advocacy, driving public awareness, advancing policy change, and combating systemic discrimination. Under his leadership, the Development Committee is exploring a variety of fundraising models — from traditional events to creative, outside-the-box strategies — while fostering collaboration across the UCP affiliate network.
“The more money we raise, the more impactful we can be. I’m excited about the road ahead and the opportunities we have to create lasting change.”
Brad Boyer’s blend of professional expertise and personal passion makes him an invaluable member of UCP’s leadership. His vision, dedication, and drive are helping UCP build a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
