The UCP Network group on Facebook is a private page for UCP affiliates to use to see and share information, ideas and events throughout the network.
Here are some frequently asked questions which should explain who can join, how it works, privacy and more.
A. UCP Network is a private Facebook forum for affiliates to learn about and share what’s happening across the UCP network. Group members can chat, exchange information, post upcoming events, share ideas, best practices, model programs, important documents, announcements and more.
A. This is a private Facebook group, so you will need permission to join. Log in to your Facebook account and type “UCP Network” into the search box. You should see a UCP Network group in the drop down search results. Click on that group to visit the page.
Once you locate the group’s page, press +1 Request to Join. Someone who is already a member or an administrator will confirm your request.
A. Since this group is intended for the UCP affiliate network, only UCP national or affiliate staff members and volunteers may join.
A. People in the UCP Network group will only be able to see as much information from your profile as you allow with your Facebook privacy settings. (See also: Facebook’s answer to this question.) If you are not otherwise connected to UCP Network members as personal Facebook “friends,” then other group members will only be able to see your basic profile information. No one except members of the UCP Network group will be able to see what you post or comment on within the group.
A. Maybe. Your friends will not be able to see group activity unless they are members of the group themselves. However, they may see your posts and comments to the group if you’ve allowed group posts to show in your Facebook feed.
